Rules
Outbid is a public leaderboard. There are no ads, no API keys, and no revenue share. You pay to stand above everyone else. Rank is the bid — nothing else.
How ranking
New listings are whole currency units, $1 minimum, $1 at a time. Bids already on the board keep their amount until they raise or get outranked.
Taking #1 costs at least $1 more than the current top bid. Paying less still puts you on the board at whatever rank that bid can take. Equal bids stay in the order they were placed — the older bid keeps the higher rank.
Enter the same website again to raise that listing to any rank. The new bid must be at least $1 above your current bid; you only pay the difference. Someone else cannot take your rank by paying that difference.
Only https://www.linkedin.com/in/…/ is stored. Query strings and hashes are stripped. The same /in/ path is the same listing if you raise the bid.
Allowed
You can list: your own public LinkedIn profile.
Chat and invite links are not allowed — Telegram, WhatsApp, Discord, Messenger, Signal, and similar. Company pages, school pages, posts, and any URL that is not https://www.linkedin.com/in/…/ are rejected.
Links to sexual content are not allowed. If it is porn, NSFW, or an adult platform, it does not belong on the board.
Query parameters and hashes are stripped. https://www.linkedin.com/in/name/?skipRedirect=true is stored as https://www.linkedin.com/in/name/.
Shorteners, http://, linkedin.com without www, and mobile or country hosts are not allowed.
Categories
You pick a category when you add a listing (O*NET job families, occupation titles, or Other). If the profile is in the wrong category, write to qa@outbidtalent.com.
After pay
Your listing is public after you sign in and publish details. Clicks go to the LinkedIn URL, without query parameters.
A completed Polar payment is what claims the rank. Sign-in happens after payment.
Who may list
You must be 18 or older. You may only add a LinkedIn profile you own or are allowed to represent. Impersonation is removed without a refund.
