1. Agreement

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern access to and use of the website and services of “Outbid” (the “Service”), operated by Outbid Talent(“we”, “us”). Contact: qa@outbidtalent.com.

By using the Service, paying, or creating an account you agree to these Terms, the Refund Policy, the Privacy Policy, and the Cookie Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. The Service

Outbid is a public paid leaderboard of LinkedIn profile links. Users submit a public LinkedIn profile URL, choose a profession category, pay, then sign in and publish a name and short description. Listings are shown in a uniform style. Order on the board is one rule: total amount paid for that listing, highest first. Equal amounts keep the older listing higher.

A high rank is not a recommendation, verification, endorsement, or hiring decision. The Service is not a job board, employer, recruiter, or employment agency. We do not promise interviews, jobs, clients, or any result other than placement on the board according to the payment rule.

Outbid is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by LinkedIn Corporation. LinkedIn is a trademark of LinkedIn Corporation. We do not scrape LinkedIn and we do not sell access to LinkedIn. Clicks from the board go to the LinkedIn URL the user submitted.

3. Eligibility and accounts

You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract. Sign-in uses Firebase (email and, where enabled, Google). Disposable email addresses are blocked. You are responsible for activity under your account.

4. Listings you may submit

You may submit only a public LinkedIn profile URL in this form: https://www.linkedin.com/in/…/ — https, www, path /in/ plus the profile slug, with a trailing slash. Query strings and hashes are removed before storage. Other hosts, http, company pages, school pages, posts, shorteners, and any other path are rejected.

You may only submit a profile you own or are legally allowed to represent. You warrant that you have the right to publish the name, photo, and text you add, and that the listing is accurate and not misleading. Impersonation, stolen identities, and listings about other people without authority are forbidden.

Forbidden: illegal content; sexual, pornographic, or NSFW material; hate, harassment, or threats; malware or fraud; content that violates applicable law or LinkedIn’s own terms as they apply to you. We may hide or delete a listing that breaks these rules without a refund.

5. Payment and rank

Checkout is processed by Polar as the payment provider. New listings start at $1 and increase in steps of $1. Paying more only changes sort order. A specific rank is never guaranteed and can change when others pay. Boosts of a live listing work the same way: you pay the difference you choose, subject to the minimum step.

Payment happens before account registration on a first listing. After Polar confirms payment you sign in and finish the listing. The Service begins when payment is confirmed. You acknowledge that you request immediate performance of a digital ranking service.

6. Moderation

Listings are published with post-moderation. We may hide, edit category assignment after a request to qa@outbidtalent.com, or remove a listing that violates these Terms or the law. Removal for a violation is not a billing error.

7. Your responsibility and our limits

You are responsible for your listing and for the LinkedIn page it opens. We do not control LinkedIn or third-party sites. The Service is provided “as is”. To the maximum extent permitted by law we are not liable for lost profits, lost rank, reputational harm, or indirect damages. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under mandatory consumer law in your country.

8. Data and deletion

How we process personal data is in the Privacy Policy. You can delete your account, listings, and images from the account page. After deletion, public listings you owned are removed.

9. Changes and law

We may update these Terms. The version on this page is the current one. If a court finds a clause unenforceable, the rest stays in force. These Terms are the agreement between you and Outbid Talent for use of the website. Payment checkout may also be subject to Polar’s own buyer terms.
